Among the pieces on display will be a hammered and embossed copper vase (circa 1910), various lacquered panels from the 1920s – one of which representing a young woman seated in engraved and lacquered wood (circa 1929) – and three nestling tables gigognes in mahogany and lacquer with eggshell inlays (circa 1930).

The gallery will also show emblematic pieces by the Giacometti brothers, including a very rare oblong dish by Alberto Giacometti in green and brown patinated bronze (circa 1948) as well as a pair of “Pommeaux de canne” armchairs by Diego Giacometti.

Last but not least the gallery presents a bronze sculpture by Joan Miro which was a model for the arch the artist executed for the Maeght Foundation (circa 1962). It was originally owned by collectors who were friends of the Maeghts.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”BACK” style=”classic” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jacqueslacoste.com%2Fen%2Fexpositions%2F|||”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row el_id=”arianne”][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_id=”single-prod”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”52877,52879,52875,52881,52873″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”product-details”][vc_column_text] TEFAF NEW-YORK May 2024 | New-York – USA Celebrating prominent designers from the 1930s and 1960s Jacques Lacoste gallery is pleased to participate in TEFAF New York 2024 which will be held at Park Avenue Armory from 10 to 14 May.
