TEFAF NY

14th-19th May | New-York- USA

For this event, the gallery is presenting a collection of major works highlighting the extraordinary refinement of 20th-century French decorative arts.

Furniture, decorative objects, and works of art—among the pieces on display in New York, some boast exceptional provenance, such as a Patou coffee table by Louis Süe and André Mare (circa 1925) that belonged to the de Noailles family, a “Haardt” table lamp by Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann (circa 1929) from the artist’s family, a very rare trapezoidal console table by Diego Giacometti (circa 1970) commissioned by Hubert de Givenchy from the artist, and a pair of monumental vases (circa 1944), unique pieces by Alberto Giacometti created at the request of publisher Albert Skira and acquired by the gallery from his descendants.

The booth will also feature works by Jean-Michel Frank, Eugène Printz, Jean Dunand, Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, Pierre Chareau, Louis Sognot & Charlotte Alix, Alexandre Noll, Rembrandt Bugatti, Jean Luce, Georges Jouve, Wassily Kandinsky, Man Ray, and others.
